We designed this crib with enough Arts & Crafts elements to attract the audience that is finding
that style appealing. We wanted to have at least one crib that would have a universal appeal.

Drop side hardware has become so cheap, we will no longer use it.....
There are multiple threaded inserts in the legs to accommodate the mattress support at several heights.

The broad center panels on the ends, framed with a gallery of spindles, the arch on the bottom of the ends,
and the through tenons on the top, are unmistakably Arts & Crafts. This is achieved without sacrificing a more traditional overall appearance.

The quality of the overall construction is evidenced by the fact that there are 84 mortise and tenon joints in each crib. All components are carefully matched for color and grain, and assembled in a manner that gives an overall continuity to the entire piece. THESE ARE BATTLESHIP-TOUGH. They are made of hard, dense ash lumber and are rock solid when assembled.

IT TAKES A STANDARD CRIB MATTRESS THAT IS AVAILABLE ANYWHERE. IT CONVERTS TO A SMALL BED / SOFA

Handmade throughout, the care and concern is evident in every aspect of its construction.
There is no veneer, only the highest quality Ash or Quartersawn Oak is used. The weight of the crib is about 130 lbs. The strong components are deeply mortised into each other and carefully assembled.

This crib is designed to last for generations.
It will stand continuous use as a crib or couch, and transforms easily between the two.
There are a pair of additional "add-on" corbels included.
These attach to hide the threaded inserts and keyhole hanger on the open side when used as a couch
